MORE FROM THE HWM CHILDREN'S PLAYLOT

I hope neither one of these cars belong to 'you'!
Members of this 'group' have been setting off serious explosives (M80's) IN THE PLAYLOT for the past 30 minuets.  Calls to 911 are ignored.  On my last call to 911,  I pointed out to the dispatcher the real danger of someone being seriously injured by this illegal activity.  Her reply, "If that happens then we'll send an ambulance."  So much for "We serve and protect"!
And so it goes North of Howard!

This is why so many of us worked for over 10 years to get the HWM Playlot built. I am currently serving as the President of the Park Advisory Council for the Playlot and urge and encourage residents of the community to join us at our monthly meetings, the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7PM, at the Willye B. White Park Recreation Center, 1610 W. Howard Street. We need your input, ideas, support and involvment. If you have questions please contact me at luckenbach@rcn.com or 773-465-2433.
