In the Alderman's email blast to announce this meeting he says: "The streetscape design for Howard Street from the Howard el station to Sheridan Road was the result of a community process put into place nearly ten years ago. Similar to the streetscape currently being installed on Morse Avenue, the final Howard Street plan was presented to the community at a public meeting in November 2003. Implementation of the project was put on hold, however, until a funding source could be identified."

As I recall, when these plans were originally presented the funding WAS in place, contrary to what the Alderman is now 'spinning'.
