The great bluesman, Pinetop Perkins passed away yesterday at the age of 97. A living legend and one of the last of the original Delta blues musicians, last month he won a Grammy Award for best traditional blues album for "Joined at the Hip: Pinetop Perkins & Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith", making him the oldest Grammy winner ever. It was the 3rd Grammy awarded him in the past several years (2005 & 2007). R.I.P. Pinetop
