I have a Coffee/Conversation Group that meets at Charmers Cafe as well. http://www.CafeSociety.meetup.com. How is this one different?
MISSION: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.
From what I can tell from their website, they have 350+ events happening nationwide today and the Coffee Party Movement has 124,865124,864 Fans.
The NHNA was formed in February 2003 to provide the North of Howard neighborhood,(historically known as Germania) with a forum, giving all North of Howard residents full representation and a voice in all issues affecting our past, present and future community direction, development and quality of life. This is really starting to pick up momentum, having only started in January, 2010.
