R. Buckminster 'Bucky' Fuller became a good friend of my parents and family during his time at Southern Illinois University in the 1960's. Here he is with his wife, Anne, at one of many, intimate gatherings, in my parent's home (my late Mother is in the center photo of the top grouping, and to the right of 'Bucky', in the lower grouping). He was truly a 'Renaissance Man', far ahead of his time in his thinking and doing, and he remained a kind of 'everyman', committed and concerned with the life and future of "spaceship earth" and all living things.
