This article, " Community built on hope", by Leonard Pitts, exemplifies what successful 'mixed-income' community development is and has been about, for the past 20 years or so. This is progressive, meaningful and, as pointed out, REAL 'mixed-income' community development, as opposed to the 'poverty concentration' approach NoH, kept in place for the past 16 years and 'locked' into the future, by Alderman Moore.
