ELECTION NEWS

It is illegal for 501(c)(3) non-profits to endorse and or otherwise show 'preference' for ANY political candidate or organization (see the IRS Regulation here ). Everyone is encouraged to report violations of this statute to the IRS immediately. Stated simply, this means that churches and non-profits with tax exempt status may not endorse or otherwise support political candidates, with posters, donations, etc. Again, violators of this law should be reported to the IRS right away!
