This loc...Answer: Cicero & Sunnyside Avenue!! <br /><br />This location is a 10 mile drive out of Beat 2422. It is, in fact, in the 17th Police District, which means that Beat car is effectively out of service in it's assigned Beat for at least an hour and a half, maybe longer. If this is standard operating procedure, it explains why, when calling 911 and requesting Police service, we are often told, "We'll dispatch a Beat car when one is available."
